Our Mission.

Love Dogs Rescue and Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue located in San Francisco, California. Our mission is to end the killing of homeless dogs. We believe this goal can be achieved by, first, rescuing, rehoming, and rehabilitating homeless dogs. This is the focus of our adoption program. Second, we believe in providing communities with access to free/low cost spay/neuter. To this end, we own a spay/neuter trailer that offers free/low cost spay/neuter services for rural California communities.

What Supports Our Mission?

Rescue

Love Dogs rescues most of our dogs from rural shelters and many of the dogs we rescue are not spayed/neutered, have never received vaccinations, and require at least basic medical care—if not more. For example:

  • $15: Microchip for a Dog

  • $30: Bag of Dog Food

  • $50: Basic Vaccinations for a Dog

  • $500: Basic All in Vetting, Vaccination, and Spay/Neuter of One Dog

    Spay and Neuter

Love Dogs also owns a full service mobile medical uni trailer that operates year round in Central California, providing free and low cost spay/neuter services.

  • $50: One Neuter Procedure

  • $100: One Spay Procedure

  • $3,000: Full Day Clinic (approx. 25 dogs)

How You Can Help.

Become a monthly donor. If you donate just $15 dollars a month—the approximate cost of buying three coffees in a month—you can make an immediate impact that supports our mission.

Make a one time gift. To support one spay procedure, we need approximately $100. To support one neuter, $50. Imagine the impact that even just one surgery can have! Your donation changes the life of not only the dog you help, but prevents more unwanted dogs. Moreover, you are also helping the family of a dog that wants to care for their dog.

Sponsor a clinic. We are always in need in sponsors for our spay/neuter clinics. One clinic day ($3,000) makes a tremendous impact, resulting in about 25 fixed dogs and preventing HUNDREDS of future dogs.
