About Love Dogs.

Love Dogs Rescue and Foundation is a federal income tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization. Founded in 2019, we seek to end the killing of homeless dogs through two avenues: adoption and free or low cost spay/neuter.

Adoption.

In our Adoption program, we rescue homeless dogs and find loving homes for them. We provide the dogs with basic veterinary care, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchipping.  Love Dogs assesses each of the dogs we rescue and make our best efforts to find the dog a compatible forever home.  Part of Love Dogs’ mission is ensuring that we promote practices and behaviors wherein that unconditional love is returned to dogs by humans. To this end, we seek to provide our adopters and their dogs with resources and assistance after they have adopted their dog.

Spay and Neuter.

Our Spay/Neuter Program seeks to make free or low cost spay/neuter widely available, especially to communities in California’s Central Valley where the problem of dog homelessness is particularly acute. Love Dogs owns a state-of-the art 25 foot mobile medical unit. We partner with SNIP Bus, another nonprofit, to host free or low cost spay/neuter events on a regular and continuing basis. Eventually, we envision a time when low cost spay/neuter is widely available to all dogs in need.
