Teresa is the founder of another non-profit, No Paws Left Behind Dog Rescue and Transport, located in Bakersfield, California. Each week, Teresa coordinates the transportation of approximately 35-40 dogs and cats from Kern County shelters to dog rescue groups. Since 2011, Teresa has driven over 400,000 miles transporting over 12,000 dogs and cats to safety. As a result of her work, Teresa has extensive connections with Central Valley shelters. She is often called upon to provide emergency assistance to dogs in need of medical care or asked to help find placement for dogs desperately in need.
